These codes outline the standards of behaviour expected from everyone involved with our club. They are essential to creating the positive, safe, and developmental environment at the heart of our philosophy.

As a player at Silver Studs FC, I will:

• Respect the Game & Its People: I will respect the referee, all coaches, opponents, teammates, and spectators. I will not use foul, abusive, or discriminatory language.
• Play Fair & with Positivity: I will play to the best of my ability, play within the rules, and accept victory and defeat with grace. I will encourage my teammates.
• Commit to My Development: I will attend training and matches on time, properly equipped, and ready to give my full effort. I will listen to and act on feedback from my coaches.
• Be a Good Team Member: I understand that football is a team sport. I will support my teammates and put the team’s efforts above my personal glory.
• Care for Our Environment: I will respect club facilities and equipment, and those of our opponents.

I understand that breaking this code may result in a warning, suspension, or in serious cases, removal from the club.

As a parent/guardian at Silver Studs FC, I will:

• Be a Positive Role Model: I will encourage and applaud effort and good play from all players. I will never ridicule or shout at any child for making a mistake.
• Respect All Officials: I will respect the decisions of referees and coaches, and will not question their judgement or honesty in a confrontational manner from the sidelines.
• Support the Club Ethos: I will support my child’s development, emphasising enjoyment and long-term growth over short-term results. I will ensure my child arrives punctually and equipped for sessions.
• Communicate Constructively: I will use appropriate channels (the Club Welfare Officer or Head Coach) to raise any concerns about coaching, safety, or my child’s welfare.
• Promote Fair Play: I will never place undue pressure on my child or the team. I understand that children play for their enjoyment, not mine.

I understand that breaking this code may result in being asked not to attend matches or training, and in serious cases, my child’s membership may be reviewed.

As a coach/volunteer at Silver Studs FC, I will:

• Prioritise Welfare: I will place the safety, well-being, and holistic development of every player above all other considerations, including winning.
• Lead by Example: I will display high standards of behaviour, language, and appearance. I will treat all players, parents, and officials with respect and fairness.
• Develop in a Positive Environment: I will create sessions that are engaging, challenging, and fun. I will use positive reinforcement and ensure all players feel valued and included.
• Maintain Professional Boundaries: I will ensure all relationships with players are professional and appropriate. I will follow the club’s safeguarding and transportation policies at all times.
• Commit to Development: I will hold relevant coaching and safeguarding qualifications and engage in continuous professional development.

I understand that I am bound by the club’s Safeguarding Policy and that breaches of this code will be dealt with seriously, potentially leading to disciplinary action and dismissal.

As a spectator/visitor at Silver Studs FC, I will:

• Celebrate Positively: I will applaud good play from both teams and encourage all players.
• Respect the Atmosphere: I will not use profane, abusive, or aggressive language. I will remain behind designated spectator areas.
• Respect Decisions: I will respect the authority of referees and club officials and will not question or dispute their decisions.
• Support the Club: I will contribute to a friendly, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for everyone involved.

I understand that the club has the right to request any person breaching this code to leave the facility immediately.
